    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Fresh Thyme Farmers Market, a natural foods grocery retailer in the Midwest, is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Customer Engagement Specialist. Based in the support office, the Customer Engagement Specialist will report to the Integrated Marketing Manager and work directly with Fresh Thyme customers. As part of an evolving marketing team, you will be responsible for engaging customers, bringing them closer to our brand and the products they love. The Customer Engagement Specialist’s job responsibilities will include the following:



    • Act as customer engagement manager across multiple platforms including the comments inbox & phone line, promoting positive brand conversation and addressing complaints per consumer care protocol
    • Build relationships with category managers, store support and regional marketing staff to support consumer and marketing needs
    • Identify and track customer engagement trends to help the company increase loyalty and relieve pain points within stores improving the customer experience
    • Deliver monthly and quarterly analytics and trend reports to the marketing team and sr. leadership
    • Become a brand advocate and learn the store operations to best assist customers with issues and questions
    • Develop deep understanding and ownership of brand voice and knowledge
    • Other related duties as assigned

    Education and Experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Communications or Marketing
    • Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in marketing, public relations and or event management
    • Customer service experience



    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Exceptional communication and writing skills
    • General understanding of retail business processes in corporate and field organization
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools
    • Project management and implementation skills
    • Strong teamwork, presentation, skills and ability to work with all management levels
    • Love of and knowledge of food
    • Ability to interact with and maintain positive relationships with customers
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently; excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment
    • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction
